Training Ukrainian servicemen in the UK enhances the professionalism of Ukraine's Armed Forces – Dmytro Klimenkov
During a meeting with Defence Attaché at the British Embassy in Ukraine, Air-Commodore Peter Cracroft, the Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov stated that the training of Ukrainian servicemen in the UK contributes to the growth of professionalism of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The discussion covered current security issues, including support for Ukraine in the context of the ongoing Russian aggression. The Deputy Minister of Defence expressed gratitude for the support provided by the UK during this difficult time for the country.
"We are grateful for the assistance we receive from our international partners. It strengthens our defence capabilities and improves our ability to resist aggression. In particular, the training of the Ukrainian military in the UK contributes to the professionalism of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," said Deputy Minister Klimenkov.
The main topic of discussion was bilateral military cooperation and further strengthening of defence ties between the two countries, including Ukraine's air defence strengthening.
