Total russian military losses on October 23, 2026: 1,980 personnel, 1,855 UAVs, and 64 artillery systems.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the estimated total russian war losses from 24.02.22 to 24.10.2026 inclusive are as follows

Personnel:

• approximately 1 576 600 (+1 980) persons.

Armored vehicles and automotive equipment:

• tanks ‒ 12 444 (+5);
• armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25 600 (+3);
• special equipment ‒ 4 852 (+1);
• vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 166 501 (+413);
• unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 3 011 (+8).

Artillery and air defense assets:

• artillery systems ‒ 51 565 (+64);
• MLRS ‒ 2 232 (+2);
• air defense assets ‒ 1 722 (+2).

Air targets:

• aircraft ‒ 449;
• helicopters ‒ 356;
• UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 579 064 (+1 855);
• cruise missiles ‒ 5 138.

Naval assets:

• warships and boats ‒ 35;
• submarines ‒ 2.
