Total russian military losses on October 9, 2026: 1,420 personnel, 1,591 UAVs, and 50 artillery systems.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the estimated total russian war losses from 24.02.22 to 10.10.2026 inclusive are as follows

Personnel:

• approximately 1 550 910 (+1 420) persons.

Armored vehicles and automotive equipment:

• tanks ‒ 12 406 (+4);
• armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25 515 (+6);
• special equipment ‒ 4 812 (+2);
• vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 160 946 (+534);
• unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 2 917 (+9).

Artillery and air defense assets:

• artillery systems ‒ 51 000 (+50);
• MLRS ‒ 2 201 (+2);
• air defense assets ‒ 1 699 (+6).

Air targets:

• aircraft ‒ 443;
• helicopters ‒ 356;
• UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 556 926 (+1 591);
• cruise missiles ‒ 5 126.

Naval assets:

• warships and boats ‒ 35;
• submarines ‒ 2.
