Total russian military losses on May 21, 2026: 880 personnel, 1,872 UAVs, and 57 artillery systems.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the estimated total russian war losses from 24.02.22 to 22.05.26 inclusive are as follows

Personnel:

  • approximately 1 353 860 (+880) persons.

Armored vehicles and automotive equipment:

  • tanks ‒ 11 944 (+1);
  • armored fighting vehicles ‒ 24 594 (+3);
  • special equipment ‒ 4 207;
  • vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 98 205 (+135);
  • unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 1 440 (+4).

Artillery and air defense assets:

  • artillery systems ‒ 42 511 (+57);
  • MLRS ‒ 1 798 (+1);
  • air defense assets ‒ 1 390 (+1).

Air targets:

  • aircraft ‒ 436;
  • helicopters ‒ 353;
  • UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 304 659 (+1 872);
  • cruise missiles ‒ 4 632.

Naval assets:

  • warships and boats ‒ 33;
  • submarines ‒ 2.
