Total russian military losses on May 1, 2026: 1,240 personnel, 2,305 UAVs, and 73 artillery systems.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the estimated total russian war losses from 24.02.22 to 02.05.26 inclusive are as follows

Personnel:

  • approximately 1 332 950 (+1 240) persons.

Armored vehicles and automotive equipment:

  • tanks ‒ 11 906 (+3);
  • armored fighting vehicles ‒ 24 500 (+4);
  • special equipment ‒ 4 151 (+1);
  • vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 93 274 (+265).

Artillery and air defense assets:

  • artillery systems ‒ 41 117 (+73);
  • MLRS ‒ 1 763 (+6);
  • air defense assets ‒ 1 357.

Air targets:

  • aircraft ‒ 435;
  • helicopters ‒ 352;
  • UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 267 589 (+2 305);
  • cruise missiles ‒ 4 579.

Naval assets:

  • warships and boats ‒ 33;
  • submarines ‒ 2.
