Total russian military losses on April 8, 2026: 1,040 personnel, 2,238 UAVs, and 64 artillery systems.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the estimated total russian war losses from 24.02.22 to 09.04.26 inclusive are as follows

Personnel:

  • approximately 1 307 540 (+1 040) persons.

Armored vehicles and automotive equipment:

  • tanks ‒ 11 847 (+1);
  • armored fighting vehicles ‒ 24 370 (+2);
  • special equipment ‒ 4 119 (+2);
  • vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 88 332 (+229).

Artillery and air defense assets:

  • artillery systems ‒ 39 689 (+64);
  • MLRS ‒ 1 724 (+1);
  • air defense assets ‒ 1 341.

Air targets:

  • aircraft ‒ 435;
  • helicopters ‒ 350;
  • UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 227 539 (+2 238);
  • cruise missiles ‒ 4 517.

Naval assets:

  • warships and boats ‒ 33;
  • submarines ‒ 2.
