To support Ukraine, the IT Coalition has mobilized €1.1 billion

IT Coalition member nations have attracted €1.1 billion in aid for Ukraine since the Coalition was established two years ago. This was announced during a meeting of the initiative’s participants in Tallinn, where the Defence Forces’ future equipment needs were discussed.
Over 2024–2025, partner nations contributed €1.1 billion in financial and in-kind support. Procurement within the framework of the IT Coalition is coordinated by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA).
“We take great pride in having, through joint efforts, already attracted nearly one billion euros to support the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in communications and technology. Particularly significant contributions were made by Germany, the United States, and Sweden. The primary objective at present is not only to deliver the already provided aid to the battlefield but also to fulfill outstanding commitments and address the critical needs outlined in detail today by Ukrainian representatives,” said Tuuli Duneton, Deputy Minister of Defence of Estonia.
This year, Ukraine received three deliveries from the IT Coalition—valued at €3.3 million, €7.5 million, and nearly €2 million.
“Our partners understand the urgency of technological needs and support the development and scaling of projects that enhance the speed and effectiveness of the Ukrainian military. Thanks to their contributions, we are strengthening the digital capabilities of the Defence Forces. We are enhancing the Oberih registry and our Reserve+ and Army+ apps. We are providing units with reliable communication equipment and expanding the deployment of the DELTA combat system. “We are grateful to the IT Coalition for their continuous and unwavering support,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
The IT Coalition is one of the Capability Coalitions within the framework of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format). The Coalition supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defence in the domains of IT, communications, and cybersecurity.
Current members of the Coalition include Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, and Japan, with Estonia and Luxembourg serving as lead nations.
