This year, Ukrainian service members will begin receiving the ‘Wounded Warrior Package’

This year, the Ministry of Defence plans to distribute the 'Wounded Warrior Package' to service members receiving treatment in medical facilities. Deputy Minister of Defence, Brigadier General of Justice Serhii Melnyk, announced the initiative.

The package will include adaptive clothing and essential personal hygiene items for both men and women.

The Deputy Minister emphasized that the MoD's priorities for the current year remain focused on enhancing the food system and implementing additional financial incentives for the military.

“These initiatives are just one aspect of the systemic changes we aim to implement. They are intended not only to support our military today but also to lay the foundation for their protection, development, and a secure future,” said Serhii Melnyk.

The Deputy Minister also announced that in 2025, a large-scale digitalization of the military medical examination process is planned. For this purpose, both the tools of the Reserve+ application and the general databases of the healthcare system will be utilized. This will not only alleviate the burden on medical personnel but will also significantly streamline procedures for service members and civilians.
