In the nine months of 2024, the Ministry of Defence codified and adopted over 17 models of demining assets for use in the Defence Forces, with 5 being made domestically.

Ukrainian weapon manufacturers produce mine rollers (mine trawls), military engineering vehicles, individual demining kits, and modern pulse induction metal detectors, all of which are important for the Defence Forces.

The codified foreign-made demining assets include Croatian-made mine flails and mine rollers, German-made integrated countermining and mine detection systems, UK-made mine plows, mine rollers, and demining systems, US-made engineering armored vehicles, etc.

It is essential to highlight that domestic manufacturers of ground robotic systems are actively involved in producing demining equipment. The Defence Ministry has already codified several models of ground robotic systems that can effectively conduct demining activities, such as Zmiy, Vepr, and FOX 2.
