The State Special Transport Service set up more than 534 km of anti-drone protection in 2025

As of the end of 2025, the State Special Transport Service had set up 534 km of anti-drone protection in seven Oblasts of Ukraine.

In 2025, the State Special Transport Service set up 534 km of anti-drone protection—anti-drone nets installed along roads. Service members protected roads in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kyiv Oblasts.

The following lengths of anti-drone protection were set up in each Oblast:

  • Donetsk Oblast: 92.2 km
  • Dnipropetrovsk Oblast: 66.7 km
  • Zaporizhzhia Oblast: 106.2 km
  • Kherson Oblast: 95.1 km
  • Sumy Oblast: 116.9 km
  • Kyiv Oblast: 52.4 km
  • Kharkiv Oblast: 5.0 km (work has begun)

In addition, the State Special Transport Service carried out the following works:

  • construction of more than 2,000 strong points;
  • construction of more than 3,000 km of anti-tank trenches;
  • installation of 1,000 km of obstacle pyramids (P3-1 type);
  • Installation of 16,000 km of the “Yegoza” barrier line;
  • installation of more than 4,000 km of low-visibility obstacles;

In 2026, service members of the State Special Transport Service continue to work to protect the Defence Forces’ logistics routes and to construct fortifications.
