The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition, the Ministry of Defence's acquisition agency, commenced the provision of winter clothing to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The suppliers of the State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), the acquisition agency of the Ministry of Defense, have started shipping winter gear and clothing to the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Specifically, they are expected to convey items worth UAH 2.6 billion. Shipments of windproof pants and jackets, shirts, gloves, trekking socks, high-top boots, and more have already started. The delivery deadline is the end of 2024.

“It is of utmost importance to equip our military with quality winter clothing and footwear in advance to guarantee their safety and efficiency. We understand the importance of systematic planning. That is why DOT, the acquisition agency of the MoD, has already begun delivering winter gear and clothing. This will help to enhance comfort and combat readiness for our service members during the cold season, which is key to their effective performance,” noted Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.
