The most in-demand vacancies in Ukrainian Army Recruitment Centers include UAV-related roles, drivers, and marksmanship specialties
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has analyzed the military specialties preferred by volunteers who reached out to Ukrainian Army Recruitment Centers.
Since the opening of the first center in February 2024, UAV-related specialties have been in the highest demand. 16% of all candidates who have already been assigned positions in the Defence Forces of Ukraine have chosen this domain.
Following that are drivers (15%) and marksmanship specialties (14%). 9% of candidates were assigned headquarters roles. Artillery and communications (including cyber-related) each accounted for 6%. Another 5% of candidates who processed their documents through Recruitment centers chose medical positions, including combat medics, medical assistants, nurses, and doctors.
In total, the listed specialties constitute 71% of all volunteers who have finalized their enlistment with the Defence Forces of Ukraine via Recruitment Centers.
To recap, 49 Recruitment Centers are currently operational in Ukraine, with one operating online. Recruitment Centers are mostly located within the premises of Administrative Services Centers (ASCs). Here, all interested individuals can receive confidential advice on joining the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
It is essential to highlight that Notification Groups are prohibited from conducting mobilization activities or delivering call-up papers within the territory of Recruitment Centers.
