In cooperation with the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Defense returned a land plot with a property complex in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, valued at over UAH 300 million, to state ownership. 

Nearly 2.5 hectares of land were planned by businessmen to be developed into multi-story residential buildings, while a facility of over 6,500 square meters was being used for profit.

The Kyiv Commercial Court declared their privatization illegal. The commercial entity's ownership rights to the property have been terminated, and the land plot’s state registration was canceled in coordination with the State Land Cadastre. 

Now, these assets will be used for defense purposes. 

The Main Directorate of Defense Land and Funds at the Ministry of Defense emphasizes that such cases of unlawful seizure of military facilities and defense lands are not isolated, but the defense department is constantly working to identify and return them to state ownership.
