The Ministry of Defense has approved the "Tavria" Combat Module for operational use
The Ministry of Defense has codified and approved the "Tavria" combat module for military deployment. This is a remotely controlled turret equipped with two machine guns, one of which is a heavy caliber. The module can be mounted on armored combat vehicles or used to equip ground-based robotic platforms.
With its control system, the turret can detect and track targets, delivering accurate fire on moving objects, and operates both day and night. The entire module is protected with armor that can withstand hits from small arms and provides protection against shrapnel.
When installed on armored vehicles, the module’s control panel and operator’s monitor are positioned inside the vehicle, offering additional protection for the soldier operating it in combat.
Manufacturers and developers with further questions regarding the codification process of military equipment can contact the Main Directorate for the Support and Lifecycle Management of Armaments and Military Equipment at [email protected]
