The Ministry of Defense announces the Hackathon “Machine Offensive 2.0.”

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine invites developers, innovators, and experts in the fields of electronic warfare, air defense, anti-drone systems, and fiber-optic technologies to participate in the Hackathon “Machine Offensive 2.0.”

“Our second large-scale Hackathon aims to bring together talents to create cutting-edge technological solutions that will help counter enemy systems and protect the lives of our military. We will turn the best ideas into real systems to strengthen the country’s defense,” said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko.

“Machine Offensive 2.0” will focus on two main challenges.

Challenge 1: Countering Guided Aerial Bombs

The enemy actively uses guided aerial bombs for devastating long-distance strikes. Due to their protected navigation and complex flight paths, these bombs are difficult to intercept with traditional air defense systems. We are seeking solutions to neutralize or reduce the effectiveness of these bombs.

Challenge 2: Countering Fiber-Optic Controlled Drones

The enemy uses drones controlled via fiber-optic connections, making them immune to radio jamming. We are looking for effective solutions to neutralize these drones.

Register for the Hackathon at the link provided.

Registration deadline: November 8.

After registration, participants will be informed of the technical details of the challenges.
