During the visit to the United States, the Ukrainian delegation presented representatives of major American companies and defense industry manufacturers with specific projects aimed at fostering business development in Ukraine and attracting investments, particularly in the defense industry.

The meeting took place at the Bank of America headquarters in New York.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Defence for European Integration Sergiy Boyev, First Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksii Sobolev, and Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak.

Following the meeting, Sergiy Boyev emphasized that American businesses are showing interest in advancing production in Ukraine and are keen on investing in energy, agro-processing, transportation and logistics, digitalization, critical mineral extraction, and the development of the defense sector with localized production in Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister of Defence highlighted that the Ukrainian defense industry has achieved significant potential and requires support and collaboration with partners to sustain its progress and continue advancing.

“The capacities of our defense industry possess substantial growth potential; therefore, collaboration with major American businesses could serve as a powerful catalyst,” emphasized Sergiy Boyev.

He noted that the largest American commercial defense companies are already cooperating with Ukraine: “The foundation has already been established, and the next step is expanding cooperation and enhancing capabilities.”
