The Ministry of Defence involves employers in the defense industry in the implementation of the quality assurance system

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is involving employer associations in the implementation of the state quality assurance system for defense products at enterprises in the defense industry.

To this effect, the Ministry of Defence and the All-Ukrainian Association of Employers’ Organizations in Aviation, Space, Missile, Shipbuilding, and Other High-Tech Sectors of the Defence Industry (FEU Defence) have signed a memorandum.

The Ministry of Defence will provide enterprises with up-to-date information and guidance on changes to national and international quality standards. The MoD will also coordinate the implementation and functioning of relevant quality assurance systems at enterprises.

Adherence to military standards guarantees that defense industry enterprises can manufacture products that meet the highest quality requirements and the needs of the frontline. This is critically important during martial law, when every order holds strategic significance for the defense of the state.

Part of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine, FEU Defence unites enterprises engaged in the aviation, space, missile, and shipbuilding industries.

As set forth in the memorandum, FRU Defence commits to informing defense industry enterprises about the benefits of implementing quality management systems in accordance with military standards matching NATO’s AQAP series.
