The Ministry of Defence introduced a platform for the interaction with suppliers of rear service property

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine unveiled a new platform called MoD Partner, which aims to digitize interactions with manufacturers and suppliers of rear service property for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Entrepreneurs can now efficiently and conveniently submit their samples of rear service property for Ministry of Defence approval via the newly launched website.

The portal will contain all the essential technical documentation related to the requirements for products for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the launch of the portal has simplified the process of obtaining certificates for companies to participate in tenders of the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), the Ministry of Defence's acquisition agency.

“Expanding the range of suppliers, attracting new market players, and ensuring maximum transparency in the acquisition process are the main objectives of the portal. This should lead to increased competitiveness and consequently lower prices while maintaining product quality,” said Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov. “We are committed to making the supply of rear service property more efficient and convenient for both the companies and the Ministry of Defence.”

The portal was developed by the Procurement Policy Department of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, supported by the Special Adviser on Defence at the UK Embassy in Kyiv.
