The Ministry of Defence inspected the capabilities of the manufacturer of fleece jackets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine remains committed to supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with quality clothing that meets contemporary requirements. In this regard, a visit was made to one of the enterprises where fleece jackets for military personnel are manufactured.

During the inspection, Ministry of Defence representatives examined the enterprise's production facilities and storage areas, familiarized themselves with the jacket manufacturing process, and assessed whether the products met the specified standards.

The inspection results demonstrated that the production complies with the established standards for supplying military personnel with high-quality and reliable clothing for effective task execution in various conditions. The inspection of the production facilities is an integral part of the process aimed at enforcing consistent high standards among all defense suppliers.

In total, the State Operator for Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT), the Ministry of Defence’s procurement agency, is set to contract 300,000 fleece jackets for 2025 (similar to the plan for 2024). The first product batch is scheduled to arrive by March 31, 2025.

Supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with high-quality products is one of the key priorities for the Ministry of Defence. The work with suppliers, inspecting their capabilities, and introducing new standards of transparency and quality will contribute to a considerable increase in the level of support for the Ukrainian service members.
