The Ministry of Defence has trained Ukraine’s first aviation specialists in POL (Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants) quality control

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has launched the first training centre for ground aviation specialists in the quality control of petroleum, oil, and lubricants (POL). 

The first students of the Centre were second-year cadets from one of the military universities. They completed a full, four-week training course and were awarded certificates of professional qualification.

The establishment of the training centre addresses the urgent need for qualified POL quality control personnel in the aviation units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Centre was certified by the General Directorate of State Aviation of Ukraine as an organisation for the training of ground aviation specialists and has received the relevant certificate of approval.

In the future, it is planned to expand the training programme and conduct regular professional training for personnel of laboratories and fuel quality control departments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine throughout the country.
