The Ministry of Defence has adopted an unmanned multipurpose transporter

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has codified and adopted domestically manufactured BoarTAC, a versatile unmanned frontline transport vehicle.

The developers considered the needs derived from the combat background of Ukrainian defenders when designing the transporter. This ground-based robotic system has a low silhouette, noise, and visibility. It is also protected from bullets and debris. The unit proved to be easy to use and field serviceable. Its driving performance is characterized by exceptional off-road capability and tractive force.

Remotely controlled by the operator, the versatile multi-purpose transporter can deliver ammunition and provisions. The multifunctional platform, fitted with unique fixtures, is capable of evacuating the wounded. Moreover, utilizing attachments enables it to conduct mine clearance operations or vice versa - to set up minefields. This ground-based robotic system can function as a mobile fire weapon by integrating remotely operated combat modules armed with grenade launchers and machine guns. The transporter can also be used as a loitering munition (kamikaze drone). The robot has wide tracks, large ground grippers, and a protective bumper. This allows it to negotiate off-road terrain, ditches, and shallow water obstacles. It has a load capacity of approximately 200 kg or a trailer tow capacity of the same weight.
