The government is taking steps to optimize the organization of medical support for the military
The Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Health will modify the organization of medical support for military personnel engaged in repelling russian aggression under martial law.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has amended the provisions of Resolution No. 352, dated May 24, 2017.
Wounded, injured, and sick military personnel are provided medical care in state and municipal healthcare facilities designated by regional state administrations and the Ministry of Defence. The updated standards will be applied to these healthcare facilities. The updated standards will be based on the experience of providing medical care to military personnel of the Security and Defence Forces during the full-scale war within an integrated healthcare environment.
In addition, the amendments adopted by the government align the Resolution with the Law of Ukraine on the "Principles of Ukraine's Healthcare Legislation." Specifically, the outdated terms ‘secondary (specialized)’ and ‘tertiary (highly specialized)’ medical care were removed from the document.
