The DOT-Chain Defence drone catalog: UAVs from 20 manufacturers are now available to the military
The Ministry of Defence’s Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) has signed new contracts with six manufacturers to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons through the DOT-Chain Defence IT system. The system now offers the military 146 drone models from 20 different manufacturers to choose from. Since the first order on July 31, drones worth UAH 127 million have been delivered to the frontline through the weapons marketplace.
In particular, drones from the following companies are now available under the new contracts:
- Gurzuf Defence
- Quantum-Systems
- SKYRIPER
- Warbirds
- “VIK DEVIRO” LLC
- “Reactive Drones” LLC
“We are continually expanding our catalog. It is important that the military has a wide selection of drones and can receive equipment quickly and without unnecessary bureaucracy. DOT-Chain Defence is already demonstrating dynamic growth: manufacturers are joining the marketplace, and the military now has access to a broader range of drones. This confirms that the system can scale while simultaneously addressing both requests,” said Arsen Zhumadilov, Director of the Defence Procurement Agency.
Please be reminded that all manufacturers of codified products can take part and make their drones available to the military via the weapons marketplace. At present, DOT-Chain Defence operates in pilot mode to evaluate the system in real-world conditions. Twelve brigades are participating, with available drone types including FPV and bomber models. In the future, the system is planned to be expanded with other drone types, including ground robotic systems, along with EW capabilities and drone-deployed munitions.
