The digital document in Reserve+ now includes a user photo

The Ministry of Defence has updated the Reserve+ app: the digital document (Reserve ID) will now automatically display the photo of a user liable for military service.

The feature becomes available once the app is updated to the latest version and the digital document has also been refreshed.

“We strive to ensure that digital tools provide tangible benefits in everyday situations. Adding a photo will make document checks for citizens faster and more transparent for everyone,” said Oksana Ferchuk, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization.

Please note:

• The photo will only appear for users who have a biometric passport.
• Reserve ID without a photo has the same legal force as Reserve ID with a photo.
• Temporary delays in photo loading are possible in the coming days due to high system load. If the photo does not load within several days, use the “Correct data online” function in the app menu.
