The Department of Military Training at the State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute” welcomes applicants

The Department of Military Training at the Kyiv Aviation Institute invites men and women to apply for the education program, offering a pathway to join the military ranks through technical education and a prestigious military specialization. 

Graduates are commissioned as officers and acquire professions in areas essential to national defense capabilities.

The Department trains military specialists under the following educational and professional programs:

• Automobile Roads and Airfields: this specialization prepares specialists in engineering and airfield services responsible for the construction and maintenance of runways, ensuring that aircraft can take off on time.
• Industrial and Civil Construction: command post support specialists ensure the functionality and resilience of decision-making centers through proper design and maintenance.
• Critical Infrastructure Protection: fire safety specialists ensure the protection of vital infrastructure in the face of modern security challenges.
• Airport Technologies and Technical Equipment: this specialization prepares POL (Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants) specialists to maintain continuous supplies of fuel and lubricants to the military.
• Transport Organization and Management (Air Transport): this specialization trains logistics professionals to plan and coordinate the transport of military equipment and supplies by air and rail.

Admission process for the Department of Military Training at the Kyiv Aviation Institute

The Department of Military Training enrolls Ukrainian citizens aged 17 to 30 who have completed secondary education, satisfy military service requirements, and wish to serve in Ukraine’s Armed Forces, National Guard, or State Border Guard Service.

Admission to the Department of Military Training at the Kyiv Aviation Institute is based on the results of the National Multi-Subject Test (NMST), entrance exams, medical examination, and psychological evaluation. 

Applications are accepted until July 10, 2025.

Applicants are also required to pass the following entrance tests:

• Psychological evaluation;
• Assessment of physical fitness;
• Final medical examination conducted by the Military Medical Commission.
