The Defence Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has contracted ground robotic systems for UAH 300 billion
The Ministry of Defence’s Defence Procurement Agency has already signed 16 contracts, totaling nearly UAH 300 million, to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with several hundred ground robotic systems of various modifications.
Thanks to the rapid approval for use, several hundred modern Ukrainian-made ground robotic systems were purchased. This marks a significant move towards bolstering the tech proficiency of our units,” said Deputy Minis ter of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.
In particular, several contracts have been signed, including for the procurement of:
• Reconnaissance-strike ground systems capable of mobility, reconnaissance, and engaging the enemy;
• Logistics unmanned ground robotic systems;
• Remotely controlled combat modules;
• Unmanned ground robotic systems for mining.
Most of these systems have already been delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Our close collaboration with both manufacturers and military is focused on expediting the delivery of cutting-edge Ukrainian weaponry to the battlefield. The procurement of ground robotic systems will reduce the risks for personnel on the battlefield,” said Maryna Bezrukova, Director of the Defence Procurement Agency.
