Following the proposal of Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has dismissed Oleksandr Balanutsa from his role as Deputy Minister of Defence.

Rustem Umerov thanked Mr. Balanutsa for his efforts and input to the ministry. Looking ahead, Oleksandr Balanutsa will carry on with his career in diplomacy.

Appointed as Deputy Minister of Defence on May 17, 2024, Oleksandr Balanutsa was responsible for European integration.
