The Armed Forces of Ukraine are initiating the first training program for DELTA combat system instructors
Training centers and higher military educational institutions of the Land Forces are implementing an instructor training program to ensure the effective use of the DELTA combat system. This training course was developed by the Innovation Center of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Command for Training of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The primary objective is to equip service members with the necessary knowledge of DELTA to integrate it into combat units and employ it effectively.
Running for six days, the program will consist of seven modules and focus on the following aspects:
- Hands-on training with the DELTA system: from basic functions to advanced capabilities for real combat scenarios.
- Teaching methodology: training instructors to effectively pass on knowledge and skills to future DELTA system users.
- Enhancing knowledge and exchanging experience: leveraging combat experience with DELTA to continuously refine the program and tactics.
“In the face of war and continuous technological advancements, the ability to quickly adapt and effectively utilize modern combat systems is vital. However, such systems will not operate on their own; they require skilled personnel. Thus, the training program for DELTA instructors is an investment in the intellectual potential of our military and a crucial step towards gaining technological superiority on the battlefield,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
Implementing the training program for DELTA instructors is a key component of the Armed Forces' strategic direction toward modernization and enhancing forces' effectiveness in contemporary combat operations. The next phase is the broad implementation of the program across all training centers and higher military educational institutions of the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine.
