The IT coalition welcomes Sweden as it extends its support to Ukraine. In Brussels today, Sweden's Defense Minister Pål Jonson signed the declaration to join the IT coalition during a meeting with Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.

“Sweden is expanding its support for Ukraine. This is an important step in strengthening our cooperation,” Rustem Umerov commented on the decision.

He pointed out that Ukraine is interested in developing cooperation in areas such as telecommunications and collaboration with Swedish defense companies.

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine also revealed that Sweden continues to provide military aid, specifically working on transferring two airborne early warning aircraft to Ukraine. 

The parties deliberated on the potential to strengthen the Ukrainian Air Force and the training of one of the Ukrainian military units.
