Spain joins the IT coalition: Kateryna Chernohorenko welcomed the signing of the Declaration of Intent

Spain's participation in the IT Coalition was solidified when it signed a Memorandum of Intent during the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in the Ramstein format. In the realm of IT, communications, and cybersecurity, this is the 13th partner country that joined the special group to support Ukraine.

“We thank the Government and people of Spain for their systematic support of Ukraine. Joining the IT Coalition is great news. As well as the fact that an increasing number of countries are eager to assist Ukraine in enhancing its technological capabilities to guarantee the full range of capabilities necessary for deployment effective digital solution with measurable outcomes for the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” stated Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation, and Digitalization.

To reiterate, the IT Coalition is a specialized group of countries within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format), led by Estonia and Luxembourg. It focuses on providing IT, communications, and cybersecurity support to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The IT Coalition has already raised more than €70 million in financial and in-kind contributions.
