Minister of Defence of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov held a meeting with civil volunteer activist Serhii Sternenko.

“He recently held a conversation with the President, and we are strengthening cooperation to deliver on the tasks set. From now on, Serhii will act as my adviser on enhancing the use of UAVs at the frontline. His experience will help us implement our shared vision of improving the effectiveness of units operating unmanned systems,” said Mykhailo Fedorov.

He noted that there are several priority tracks the Ministry of Defence must address right now.

“The first priority is basic support for drone units. Supplies must also be systematized so that service members receive effective weapons that are operational immediately. Another key focus is analytics and effectiveness. This is precisely where Serhii’s expertise will be valuable. At present, only 50 out of 400 units account for around 70% of all confirmed enemy engagements,” the Minister of Defence noted.

The objective is to enable the other 350 units to grow quickly and significantly increase the scale of destroying russian forces. Additional training, operational analysis, and experience-sharing will enhance all processes, drawing on high-quality battlefield data and feedback from the military.

“We share a common vision for improving the effectiveness of drone units. I am confident that together we will be able to implement everything we have planned, help every crew grow, and reach a new level,” Mykhailo Fedorov concluded.
