Following the proposal of Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Serhii Boiev as Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for European integration.

Before assuming this role, Serhii Boiev, aged 41, was the Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries. From 2016 to 2022, he held managerial positions in the state-owned companies Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC and Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC.

In the preceding period, Mr. Boiev was employed by leading global banking entities and the Boston Consulting Group, where he acquired substantial expertise in financial operations and managerial practices.

Serhii Boiev holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Kyiv National Economic University, named after Vadym Hetman (Ukraine), and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (USA).
