First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Sergiy Boyev held a meeting with a delegation of staff from the offices of U.S. members of Congress.

Delegates from the Republican and Democratic parties, accompanied by experts from the McCain Institute, visited Ukraine to assess the country’s security situation and identify critical needs that the United States can help address.

“We are thankful for the multifaceted support from the United States, yet the attainment of peace requires coordinated and collective action. russia persists in its pursuit of strategic aims, aspiring to see Ukraine weakened and dependent,” emphasized First Deputy Minister of Defence Sergiy Boyev.

The Ukrainian side briefed the American delegation on the battlefield situation and provided intelligence on the aggressor’s plans and the development of its defense industry.

Sergiy Boyev presented Ukraine’s defense industry capabilities to the partners and highlighted the need for additional funding. The First Deputy Minister of Defence underscored the need for U.S.-produced weaponry, including air defense systems, armored vehicles, missiles, and ammunition.

“Ukraine aspires to peace more than any other nation, but achieving it requires strength. U.S. support is essential for bringing this war to an end,” concluded Sergiy Boyev.
