See at night like day: New night-vision monoculars now available to Ukraine’s military

The Ministry of Defence has authorized the MT-GEKKO-PRO-40 and MT-GEKKO-PRO-50 monoculars for operational use in Ukraine’s Defence Forces. These are Ukrainian-made night-vision devices. Already combat-tested, the devices feature reinforced protection and can withstand extreme operational loads.

Thanks to close cooperation between the manufacturer and service members, the MT-GEKKO-PRO-40 and MT-GEKKO-PRO-50 are equipped with enhanced optics. Depending on the configuration, the devices enable detection of enemy personnel at distances exceeding 400 meters and enemy equipment at almost 2,000 meters.

These night-vision devices also assist with navigation, equipment maintenance, medical aid to the wounded, map reading, and vehicle operation in low-visibility conditions.

The convenient mounting options allow the MT-GEKKO-PRO monoculars to be used handheld or mounted on a helmet or weapon. In addition, these Ukrainian-made monoculars are, in most cases, more affordable than foreign counterparts.
