At the annual European Business Association meeting, Rustem Umerov, Ukraine's Defence Minister, engaged in a panel discussion focused on Ukraine's security.

Rustem Umerov thanked the event's organizers for providing a platform to openly discuss the synergy between governmental bodies and businesses in fortifying our nation's defense. The Defence Minister also acknowledged the contribution of Ukrainian and international companies in securing victory for Ukraine.

Together with the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the Office of the President, we are prioritizing investments in the defense industry and are already working on a Development Strategy for 2025,” said the Defence Minister of Ukraine.

The panel also addressed the need to reserve personnel essential for replenishing the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Our goal is to create an effective model in partnership with businesses that will support both the economy and defense,” Rustem Umerov emphasized.
