Rustem Umerov: The Ukrainian defense sector has the capacity to become a vital component of Euro-Atlantic security

Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov met with Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, the newly appointed Chair of the NATO Military Committee.

The parties discussed the current frontline situation, further steps to enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities, and the strategic partnership between Ukraine and NATO.

“The first official foreign visit of Admiral Cavo Dragone in his new role is to Ukraine. This is a clear signal of support and recognition of our key role in Euro-Atlantic security,” Rustem Umerov emphasized.

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine thanked NATO member states for their comprehensive support and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation.
