Rustem Umerov: The DELTA system led to the destruction of enemy equipment valued at more than $ 15 billion
The DELTA ecosystem of innovative products for combat operations was developed by the Ministry of Defence. It has demonstrated high efficiency on the battlefield and has already been deployed to all units of Ukraine's Security and Defense Sector.
The decision was made at the meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
“Ukraine is a high-tech country. Our digital solutions and accurate weapons help counterbalance the numerical superiority of the russian enemy on the battlefield. The Armed Forces effectively utilize the contemporary DELTA system the Ministry of Defence provided. Thanks to DELTA, more than $15 billion worth of enemy equipment has already been destroyed,” said Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.
According to him, the Ministry of Defence's cutting-edge product is set to be integrated into all Defence and Security Forces.
“To this end, our digital team, together with the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and other partners, has modernized security measures to ensure that our Defence Forces have the most technologically advanced tools to destroy the enemy,” the Minister of Defence added.
DELTA is a development of the MoD’s Center for Innovation and Development of Defense Technologies. The system has passed an audit and fulfills the necessary criteria for an integrated information security system in today's context. The modernization of software acceptance procedures has enabled the integration of the DELTA system into the combat processes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Since the first days of the large-scale invasion, DELTA has emerged as a powerful instrument utilized by our military for efficient interaction and warfare. Having been tested on the battlefield, the DELTA platform tools will now be more widely used by our military to gain a technological advantage over the enemy,” added Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.
The system has undergone trials in NATO's CWIX exercise, which tests and improves the interoperability of combat systems between member and partner states.
This year saw DELTA being effectively tested in five distinct interoperability standards. It also has been integrated with the TOPAZ, Polish artillery fire control system, and was practiced in complex scenarios of gathering data on the location of own forces and friendly units.
