Rustem Umerov: Thanks to the defenders, Ukraine has endured and is advancing toward victory

Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, participated in the ceremonies marking the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the ceremonies, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded state honors to Ukrainian soldiers. The Head of State handed over battle flags to brigades that demonstrate extraordinary resilience and professionalism on the front lines.

“We honored heroes whose courage brings victory closer and paid posthumous tribute to those who gave their lives defending our country. Their sacrifice obliges us to continue the fight and achieve victory,” the Minister of Defence of Ukraine emphasized.

Rustem Umerov also attended the first Military Prayer Breakfast at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.

“Thank you to every defender for your bravery and dedication to the state. Thanks to you, Ukraine has not only endured but is steadily advancing toward victory,” the Defence Minister said.
