Rustem Umerov: “Strength is the only language the enemy understands.”

Ukraine’s Defence Minister Rustem Umerov met with domestic manufacturers of unmanned long-range strike systems. 

The discussion highlighted key priorities for producing and scaling up modern long-range weapons.

“Our response to the occupiers is the language of strength.  This is the only language the dictator understands. And this strength is embodied, among other things, in our Ukrainian long-range drones,” the Defence Minister stated.

He recalled that a year and a half ago, the President of Ukraine set forth a goal to establish and increase the production of modern long-range strike systems.

“Today, our Deep Strike capabilities are evident to the entire world. Ukrainian innovations have already demonstrated their power by targeting enemy airfields, bases, and fuel depots hundreds and even thousands of kilometers deep into russia,” Rustem Umerov said.

The Minister emphasized that Ukraine is not stopping at what was achieved. The Ministry of Defence's team and industry manufacturers deliberated on the sector's future, the importance of long-term contracts, and ways to improve production efficiency.

“Our goal is to develop systems capable of hitting targets at maximum possible range with pinpoint accuracy. Deep Strike is a vital contribution to our victory,” the Defence Minister emphasized.

To conclude, Rustem Umerov expressed gratitude to all those contributing to strengthening the nation's defense capabilities. “I extend my gratitude to everyone working daily to strengthen Ukraine’s defense potential. We remain in close contact with each manufacturer to promptly address challenges and collectively bring our victory closer”.
