Rustem Umerov held talks with ambassadors representing G7 countries regarding the necessities on the battlefield and the primary goals of the Ministry of Defence

At a meeting with ambassadors from the Group of Seven nations, Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umerov outlined MoD’s accomplishments during the year and discussed the current state of affairs and the priority needs to ensure Ukraine's victory.

“Our main priorities revolve around actions on the battlefield and systemic changes in the defense sector,” the Minister of Defence of Ukraine emphasized.

Rustem Umerov pointed out that this year, Ukrainian forces successfully halted the Russian advance in the Kharkiv region and shifted combat operations to the territory of russia, specifically the Kursk region.

The Minister also highlighted that the Ministry of Defence's efforts have brought in $4 billion in investments for the Ukrainian defense sector, leading to a substantial growth in production.

Furthermore, digital solutions, such as the DOT-Chain system, have been implemented to ensure transparent acquisition procedures without the risk of corruption. Having demonstrated their efficiency, the DELTA and Kropyva digital combat systems function effectively on the battlefield.

Rustem Umerov thanked the G7 countries for their consistent support and expressed optimism for future cooperation, especially in enhancing Ukraine's air defense systems.
