During a meeting with a delegation led by Jukka Kopra, the Finnish Parliament’s Defence Committee Chair, Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov urged Finnish businesses to invest in Ukraine's defense industry and establish joint enterprises.

The Ukrainian Defense Minister thanked the Government and people of Finland for their ongoing support and commitment to enhancing mutual cooperation.

The Finnish delegation assured their intention to continue aiding Ukraine with military support and investing in industrial facilities to enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities.

The parties deliberated on financing options for defense production in Ukraine and the potential for setting up joint enterprises.        

“Finnish businesses are encouraged to submit applications to the Ministry of Defence as we are prepared to provide them with contracts,” Rustem Umerov said.
