Users can now pay fines for late updates of personal data in Reserve+

A new service has been launched in the Reserve+ app – fine payments. Now, those liable for military service can pay a fine online for failing to update their personal data before 16 July 2024 – with a 50% discount, no queues, and no paperwork. This enables fast closure of the administrative violation and removes the red ribbon from the document in the app.

In its first version, the service only supports payment of fines for failure to update personal data on time. Fines for other military registration violations will become available for payment in Reserve+ at a later stage.

How to pay the fine online?
1. Update Reserve+ app to the latest version and open the app.
2. Go to the “Fines Online” section, submit a statement admitting the violation, and receive a decision from the enlistment office within three days.
3. After that, the option to pay the fine will become available in the app: UAH 8,500 – 50% of the full amount. Once the fine is paid, the violation and the red ribbon will be automatically removed.

The fine must be paid within 20 days of receiving the decision in Reserve+. If not paid on time, the full amount of UAH 17,000 will be charged. If unpaid within 40 days of receiving the decision from the enlistment office, the fine will double to UAH 34,000, and the case will be referred to the enforcement service.

“Online fines are a service for resolving an issue that previously required a personal visit to the enlistment office or police involvement. With Reserve+, we offer a simple, transparent, and humane alternative – just like other administrative fines are already handled in Ukraine. This is another example of how digital services are working in the interest of Ukrainians,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development.

It should be noted that fines are being introduced gradually to evenly distribute the load on the new service. The service will be fully operational in the coming days.

The service was developed by the Ministry of Defence with support from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Command of the Ground Forces, and the Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO).
