Recruitment information centre opened at Lviv railway station

Інформаційний пункт рекрутингу на вокзалі у Львові
Співробітники «Укрзалізниці» надаватимуть тут базову інформацію щодо системи рекрутингу та адреси центрів набору людей до української армії.

Ukrzaliznutsia staff members, who have undergone appropriate training, will provide basic information on the recruitment system and the addresses of the drafting offices to the Ukrainian armed forces.

“Today we are opening the second recruitment information centre to the Ukrainian army at the railway stations of Ukrazaliznytsia. Lviv has been chosen for a good reason, as it is the main transportation hub in the country. Here, routes of more than 11000 people converge each day. Our workers will provide information about vacancies in the AFU and answer frequently asked questions about positions in military units. You can scan the QR-code in the brochure to find out the addresses of recruitment centres and other information,” said Roman Senyshyn, Head of Lviv railway station.

The information centre’s working hours are 8.00 to 21.00, 7 days a week. Draft notices will not be handed down there, but only consulting services for citizens. A similar information centre has been open at Kyiv Central railway station for two weeks now. Hundreds of people have used its services over this period.

“The recruitment information centre has proved itself good in Kyiv. We can see that people use its services to find a job in the military. I urge everyone to ask, get consultations and, eventually, join the Defence Forces using your civilian experience. Our consultants will always help you,” – said Oleksii Bezhevets, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine's Commissioner for Recruitment.

After opening, Lviv Recruitment Centre expects an increase in the number of visitors. They also notice the number of volunteers for the Defence Forces grows every day.

“Lviv recruitment centre for the Ukrainian army has already had more than 1300 visitors in 3 months, documents for nearly 400 people are being processed, 30 citizens are already at different stages involved in service in the AFU. The flow of volunteers is growing daily,” said Halyna Piskorska, recruiter at the Ukrainian Army Recruitment Centre.
