Recruitment Center of the Ukrainian Army was opened in the city of Bucha

This is the third Recruitment Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kyiv region. Previously, such facilities were opened in Bila Tserkva and Brovari.

Individuals have the opportunity to seek information and potentially submit an application at the following address: 12, Enerhetykiv Street (Administrative Services Center of Bucha Municipality).

Consultations are also available by phone: +380 (95) 491 9664 and +380 (96) 659 8880 or by e-mail: [email protected].

“The Center presents extra options for each defender to choose a military profession. It is extremely important to defend Ukraine professionally, relying on our knowledge and skills. We welcome all individuals to come and choose their future military specialization,” said the mayor of Bucha, Oleksandr Fedoruk.

The Center's operating hours are from 8:00 to 17:00 on Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 to 16:00 on Friday. Visitors will be advised by a civilian specialist who has undergone special training.

Visitors can access more than 10,000 vacancies in various units of the Defence Forces, namely in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and others.

According to Oleksii Bezhevets, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence's recruitment officer, over 12,000 individuals nationwide have availed themselves of these consultations. Approximately 1,300 have already joined the military or are finalizing their paperwork.

“From now on, residents of Bucha municipality can also join the Defence Forces by contacting a civilian recruiter and receiving comprehensive information about available vacancies in the units. A broad network of centers is being established so that everyone can make a choice and eventually join the chosen unit for the desired position,” added Oleksii Bezhevets.

The event was also attended by the representatives of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. They encouraged individuals to enlist in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and committed to providing comprehensive assistance during recruitment.

“We offer a variety of positions, and those are not necessarily riflemen or stormtroopers. From cooks and drivers to accountants and clerks, we need specialists in various fields. We are eager to offer guidance and support to individuals in locating a role within the Armed Forces of Ukraine that allows them to excel to their fullest potential,” said Valerii Andrushchenko, Senior Lieutenant of the Regional Mobile Group North of the 3rd Recruiting Center of the Ukrainian Navy.

There are currently 32 recruitment centers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces nationwide. By the end of the year, it is expected to cover all of the regions of Ukraine.
