Recruitment Center of the Ukrainian Army was opened in Konotop
Individuals have the opportunity to seek information at the following address: 13 Chervona Kalynya Avenue (on the premises of the city’s Administrative Services Center) and by phone: +38 (098) 091 7383. The Center's operating hours are from 8:00 to 15:00 on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and from 8:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday and Thursday.
“I encourage all residents of the city visiting the Recruitment Center to have a clear conscience after the victory, to have narratives for your children, and to make your parents proud of you. Here, you can choose the specialty that suits you best and then serve in your preferred location. Come, then!” emphasized the mayor of Konotop, Artem Semenikhin.
This is the fourth Center in the Sumy region. It was launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence, regional and district administrations, and local governments. As of September 13, there are 36 Recruitment Centers of the Ukrainian Army in Ukraine.
“Over 16,000 individuals have already contacted the Ukrainian Army's Recruitment Centers network. Every month, the Defence Forces see a continuous increase in volunteer enlistment, with thousands of new recruits joining their ranks. Sumy region demonstrates good results. “Hence, I encourage everyone to get in touch with our specially educated non-military experts and select a military unit and a role in the Armed Forces,” stated Oleksii Bezhevets, recruitment officer for the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.
Individuals between 18 and 60 are eligible for recruitment. Medics, psychologists, and individuals aged 18-25 can opt for a 1-year contract.
