Ternopil region leads in the percentage of women among candidates to join Ukraine’s Defense Forces – 48% of all applicants. Following are Chernivtsi (44%) and Chernihiv (39%) regions. Nationally, women make up an average of 19% of all applicants through recruitment centers.

Ukrainian army recruitment centers offer over 10,000 positions across various military formations: the Armed Forces, National Guard, State Border Guard Service, and the Security Service of Ukraine.

Consultations at recruitment centers are provided confidentially, and summons are not issued at these centers.
