Over 5,000 combat engagements and nearly 7,000 guided aerial bombs: the situation on the front line in April

In April, the enemy used nearly 7,000 guided aerial bombs (GABs) against the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this was the second-highest monthly number of guided aerial bombs employed by the enemy since the onset of the full-scale invasion. The figure was higher only in March, at 7,987.
At the same time, combat intensity did not decrease, with 5,085 combat engagements recorded on the front line during the month. The daily number of engagements exceeded 200 several times, including 241 on April 26. Even on Easter, during the so-called “ceasefire,” more than 100 combat engagements were recorded.
Compared with previous months, the intensity of artillery fire decreased slightly. In April, just over 96,000 artillery attacks were recorded, including 2,322 involving MLRS.
