Oleksandr Balanutsa and Ambassador of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo López-Aranda discussed NATO projects and activities in Capability Coalitions

At a meeting held in Kyiv, Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksandr Balanutsa discussed further cooperation with Ambassador of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo López-Aranda Jagu.

Oleksandr Balanutsa expressed gratitude to the people and authorities of Spain for their continuous support of Ukraine in the struggle against russian aggression. He emphasized that “both the aid with weapons and equipment and the medical aid provided by Spain to wounded Ukrainian service members are extremely important.”

Ricardo López-Aranda assured the support of his country for Ukraine.

The parties discussed the implementation of the decisions taken at the NATO Summit in Washington, D.C., and the implementation of joint projects between Ukraine and NATO.

The Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine briefed about preparations for the next meeting of the Support Group for Ukraine in Ramstein format.

He thanked the Ambassador for his country's contribution to the Capability Coalitions supporting the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The formalizing of Spain’s role in the Artillery and IT Coalitions was also discussed by the parties.
