Denys Shmyhal and the Minister of Defence of Estonia discussed weapons supplies and the development of joint production

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, held talks with the Minister of Defence of Estonia, Hanno Pevkur.
The parties discussed weapons supplies and the development of joint production.
Denys Shmyhal thanked his counterpart for solidarity and consistent support for Ukraine throughout the full-scale war. In particular, he noted Estonia’s decision to allocate 0.25% of its GDP annually to assist Ukraine.
“Within this initiative, we coordinate our priorities and deepen cooperation with Estonian defence-industry manufacturers. I spoke with Hanno Pevkur about launching joint enterprises,” noted the Defence Minister of Ukraine.
Denys Shmyhal said Ukraine highly values the practical assistance Estonia provides through the IT Coalition, in training service members, and in supplying necessary equipment.
“It is important that all military assistance for the Defence Forces of Ukraine is delivered on time. We must intensify pressure on the aggressor,” emphasised the Minister of Defence of Ukraine.
