New textiles for uniforms and tents: The Ministry of Defence invites companies to participate in testing
The Ministry of Defence is seeking and researching new types of textiles for summer field suits and frame tents. Manufacturers are being encouraged by the MoD to take part in testing these materials.
Suits
Manufacturers (suppliers) of fabrics for summer field suits have the opportunity to provide samples of their products that meet the draft technical specification TS A01XJ.29979-XXX:2024 (01) “Cotton and combined fabrics for the manufacture of upper components of uniform and special clothing” developed by the Main Department of the Technical Specification.

Tents
The characteristics of textiles used for frame tent production should be checked for compliance with the following parameters:

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine encourages manufacturers (suppliers) of textiles for summer field suits and frame tents to participate in studying these materials. Those who want to participate should submit the online form #3 through the MoD Partner platform.
This is a further step in the ongoing modernization of the support framework for our frontline military, aimed at improving the conditions of service in the field.
